Do you happen to have a tutorial on how to correctly add the C1 NuGet packages to a solution using VB.NET and .NET 5.0? I am just beginning to look at it and I tried to add the C1.Win package by going to Tools - NuGet Package Manager - Manage NuGet Packages for Solution. I then clicked Browse and selected ComponentOne Local as the source, selected C1.Win and clicked Install. Everything seemed to work perfectly but now I get an error any time I try to open a form in that project. It reads “Unable to load one or more of the requested types.”

    Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience, Microsoft did breaking changes in Visual Studio 16.10 Core Designer that made it incompatible with our current or previous builds. This issue will be fixed in the 21v2 release which is supposed to be released soon.

In the meantime, you can either continue by coding behind or if you have a system with Visual Studio 16.9, you can use the 21v1 release build with that.

    Regards.

Ok looks like I can now add the NuGet packages but I still don’t see any of the controls in the Toolbox. Do you have a tutorial on how to work with C1 and .NET 5?

Looks like its only certain ones that don’t seem to work others work just fine. I’ll create a new topic about that.

    Hi,

Could you please let us know which C1 Nuget packages are not working at your end so that we investigate this further at our end?

    Regards
