    Hi,

    I use C1-WinForm-Tools (for example 4.0.20191.363 C1.Win.C1TrueDBGrid.4).

I habe bought the enterprese edition.

I installed my software package at a customer with your tools and evreything runs.

But sometimes after a while I get the Message “Your trail period has expired!” for the C1PDF.

    C1.Win.C1TrueDBGrid.4 still runs.

If I make a new compilation at my PC and I install it again - everything runs again,

Butg somtime I cannotg make a new compilation because the custmoer needs the old version of my software.

Do you have an idea, why this is happening an no a way to fix the problem.

    Thanks, Horst

    Hello,

The evaluation message pop up appears in the following two cases:

    1. The license key activated on your system is not valid for the version you are trying to use in the project.

    2. The entries of the licenses.licx file do not match with the controls used in the application.

In your case, it seems that the licenses file either doesn’t exist, contains wrong information, or is not configured correctly.

First, try a full rebuild (Rebuild All from the Visual Studio Build menu). This will usually rebuild the correct licensing resources.

The entry for every C1 control used in the application at design time or run time should be present in the licenses.licx file of the project. If you have added controls at runtime, drag and drop the controls on the form to generate their corresponding entries in the licenses.licx file and then you may delete the controls. You can also use the LicxGenerator to generate a licenses.licx file for your application.

You can learn more about the same using the below blog post:

    https://www.grapecity.com/blogs/licensing-and-licenses-licx-file-licxgenerator-tool

The licenses file entry that you may use for the C1Pdf is:

    C1.C1Pdf.C1PdfDocument, C1.C1Pdf.4

This should solve the problem for you.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Prabhat Sharma.
