    Hello,

    I’m using C1Flexgrid.

How can I get a dotted (focus-)border around of the current (focused) cell?

C1DataGrid has already such feature, but C1FlexGrid unfortunately doesn’t.

    Hi,

To show a focus rectangle on the current (cursor) cell of the FlexGrid, you can create an adorner layer over the FlexGrid and draw a dotted rectangle over the current cell. Please see the attached sample project for reference.

You can further customize it as per your needs and test it in your application. In case you face any issues, please share the updated sample project showing the same, so we can investigate further and assist you better.

    Hi Kartik,

    Thanks for the example.

Unfortunately I cannot use it - FlexGrid I’m using is C1.WPF.FlexGrid.4.6.2 (Version=4.6.20251.877). Sorry for not mentioning that.

Could you please adjust your example to this version? It seems to differ a lot from your used version.

    Hi,

Yes, the API for the .NET 6+ version of FlexGrid is slightly different, and the same code will not work for the .NET Framework 4.6.2 version of FlexGrid.

For your convenience, we have attached an updated sample project that contains the same implementation based on the .NET Framework API of FlexGrid.
