INFO

This function returns information about the operating system.

Syntax

INFO(text)

Arguments

The text argument specifies the type of information to be returned. The following types of text are available:

Text Type	Returns
directory	Current directory path or folder
numfile	Number of active worksheets
origin	Returns the absolute cell reference of the top and leftmost cell visible in the window, based on the current scrolling position
osversion	Current operating system version (text)
recalc	Current recalculation mode
release	Microsoft Excel version (text)
system	Operating environment

Data Types

Accepts any data. Returns any data type.

Example

INFO("recalc") gives the result Automatic.
