Release Notes for Version 18.1.20251.0

This set of release notes includes enhancements from the previous release, resolved issues, and version details.

Enhancements from the Previous Release

This version of the product has the following enhancements from the previous release:

• Spread for WinForms now provides information about pipeline licensing.

• Spread now allows you to style a specified cell range individually without affecting the entire column by using the StyleRangeStrict property.

• Spread enables you to customize and localize the text displayed in EnhancedPrintPreview and PageSetup dialog in any language using the FarPoint.Win.Localizer.LocalizeText event.

• Spread allows you to suspend the calculation of formulas while saving/opening a spreadsheet, even when the values in dependent cells change by using the SuspendCalculation property.

• Spread now allows you to capture editing errors by using the FpSpread.CellValueCommitError event.

• The FpSpread.CircularCellChanged event captures all the detected and removed circular references in a workbook or worksheet at once using IWorkbook.CircularReferences and IWorksheet.CircularReferences API’s.

• Spread’s built-in objects now support binary formatting using DataContractSerializer. This enhancement has resolved the compatibility issue previously encountered with .NET 9, which required adding a reference to the Formatters Nuget package for binary formatting.

Resolved Issues

The following issues have been resolved since the last release.

• Fixed an issue where the PSShape object was not getting selected in a scaled sheet.

• Resolved a calculation issue while using VLOOKUP function.

• Issue in loading/ saving particular Excel files has been resolved.

• Resolved the issue where original shape sizes were getting changed on changing the zoom scale factor.

• Column headers are now getting resized properly on resizing row/ column.

• Resolved the issue of inserting the function at cursor location.

• Resolved the issue about the usage of IReferenceSource to get sheet reference.
